Core Beliefs
Following are the core beliefs of Christian City Fellowship based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God Wrote a Book
The Bible is God's Word to all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It's the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and leads us in all aspects of daily living.

God Is Good, God Is Great
God is good: He is our Father. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises. God is great: He is all powerful, all knowing, ever present, unchanging, completely worthy of our trust, and above all, holy. It is in Him that we live, move, and exist.

Jesus Christ: Son of God, Son of Man
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. Jesus was fully God and became fully man and walked among us. He was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life so He could be a substitution for us, removing every hindrance that separated us from life in God. Christ died on the cross, was buried and was resurrected on the third day, is now seated at God's right hand with all rule and authority, and He will personally come again.

The Presence and the Power of God
Everything Jesus did, He did in full dependence on the person of Holy Spirit. He encourages all those who would follow Him to live in that same dependence. Holy Spirit leads us into all truth; glorifies Christ; brings all things to our remembrance; comforts; convicts of sin and righteousness; and is the full might, power, and ability to live as Christ.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the enduement of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts, and their uses in the work of the ministry. This experience is distinct from, and subsequent to, the experience of the new birth. With the baptism in the Holy Spirit comes such experiences as: an overflowing fullness of the Spirit; a deepened reverence for God; an intensified consecration to God and dedication to His work; and a more active love for Christ, for His Word, and for the lost.

God's Design for Community
The Church is HIS body in the earth and the only thing He is building. It is made up of all believers and exists to fulfill Christ's mission: to bring every human being to life in Christ and healing and justice to human society — all to the glory of God.
